Timeshare trade -in Matzalan

We recently visited Matzalan and stayed at the El Cid Marina & Yacht Club. We attended their presentation along with attending at LaJollya and Escondido Fractional Condo,s. All three wanted us to trade in our present timeshare deeds to buy into their programs. Has anyone else had this experience.

Many have had the experience, and AFAIK they are uniformly unhappy. It involves taking on another contract- at retail- for something you can buy for pennies on eBay. And that includes the giving away what you already own.

Hope you didn't fall for it- or that you are within the rescission period.
