Timeshare to stay at near Haines City?

We're looking to be in Haines City, FL for mid-May. What would be the best timeshare to stay at to be closest to there. Needing to go to Disney is not at all a consideration. The biggest issue is fast, good access to Haines City. Access to other Orlando area entertainment would just be a plus.

I have access to both RCI and II resorts. Would consider non-TS recommendations as well, like private residences.

Haines City is just up the road on Hiway 27. 15/20min.

No timeshares near Haines City - closest would be Rt 192 Orlando about half hour drive - other choices are hotels

Alhambra at Poinciani is about 20 miles south of 192, so it may be the closest to haines city. Champions Gate is also very far out on the I4 and may not be as long a drive. We have been there, and I wonder if the area we looked at is now called southern dunes. they had lots of condos for rent there.

Thanks for all the replies. I wound up doing a private rental of a 4BR villa with pool in the Southern Dunes complex for ~$85/night all inc. It's about 7 mins from where we will need to be so this works out best for us. In this case, TS was not the way to go.
