Are you trying to buy through them or sell through them.

Can't say I have heard of them. Even so if they are offering to buy your timeshare or sell your timeshare or rid you of your timeshare in anyway, I would look for other options. In all likelihood it will involve a high upfront fee and if they say they will sell any then reimburse you, they won't, they will just disappear. If they say they can dispose, they may or may not.

Back in 2000 I entered into a contract with a firm with this name.
So, could be different bunch using that name. However, they stated if they they did not sell it before I could they would pay me $100. Well, I did and they never sent me a check even with all the papers.

There is a simple rule of thumb for any timeshare offers that you may receive:

If there is ANY upfront fee, NO MATTER WHAT THEY CALL IT, it's a scam.

Reputable timeshare brokers and resale agents do not charge any upfront fees - they deduct any fees from the proceeds of the sale or rental.

Please note that it's likely that they won't ask you for any fees, until they have you hooked. Once you pay them, they will disappear with your money, and you will never hear from them again.

If you are buying from them and they are the ones on eBay formerly known as J&J Timeshares, they are fantastic! I have purchased 3 Bluegreen contracts from them and all have been done quickly. 10 weeks from auction win till attached to my account and the next 2 were each around 5 weeks.

Timeshare Specialists is the sales company for the group of companies out of Montana (Resort Closings, Donate for a Cause, J & J Timeshare) that have been talked about at length here on tug.

I am a co-owner of TSS and RC, and J & J Timeshare is an ABN of TSS. TSS has many different options for timeshare owners. We do purchase units outright. We offer a no upfront fee listing service. We also offer a guaranteed transfer program. We do not charge any fees for this program until closing, when the owner gets a deed to sign to transfer the ownership out of their name.

We do not cold call people. Never have and never will.

The guaranteed transfer program is for people who do not want to go through the headache of finding a new owner and transferring the ownership. We use TUG, MRN, RedWeek, Ebay, Brokers, etc to find new owners for our inventory. Resort Closings does the transfer and holding of funds.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

Thanks,
John Kushman

This is not our company. Timeshare Specialists, out of Montana, was formed in 2012. We were not aware that there was a company operating by the same over 10 years ago.

Companies that "take your timeshare off your hands," charge thousands of dollars.

Sometimes not that much.

I agree though, give it away for free if you can, and want to put in the effort.
