Timeshare selling with broker

Most brokers are very selective on what resorts they will accept to sell. Many won't take on a Westgate property unless it is a prime ski week in the mountains. A broker is going to require a minimum commission of $1500 and most Westgate properties are worth $0 or less than that. If the property you are looking to get ride of is the one in your profile, then you won't find any reputable broker who will be willing to list it. You can try giving it away for free, offer to pay all closing costs and even offer to pay one year of maintenance fees and you might find someone willing to take it. You can post it for free in the Free Timeshares forum here on TUG. Anyone who tells you they can sell your timeshare or otherwise help you get ride of it is lying and trying to scam you.

And timeshare relief companies or lawyers, etc. tend to be scammers. They will take upfront money and you will never hear from them again. You can handle this yourself.
