We sold a timeshare for a loss in 2005 . We're wondering which federal tax form might be best for this. Anybody know??

I'm sorry but you can not take a loss on a timeshare sale. It like a car. So you bought a car in 2002 for $20K and sold it in 2005 for $10k, you can not take a loss on your taxes for that, the same is true for timeshares.

Good Luck
