Timeshare sale through Trinity Equity Group

Has anyone ever used Trinity Equity Group or Trinity Private Equity Group to sell their timeshare? They sent me a SAT Form for the sale of my timeshare and said that I would need to pay the taxes on it up front. I don't know enough about this to just say "ok", so can someone help me here?

That is a huge red flag - REPUTABLE timeshare brokers do no charge ANY upfront fees, they take all fees out of the proceeds of the sale.

If you proceed with this, they will simply take your fees, and ride off into the sunset and you will never hear from them again.

There is no buyer.
There is no sale.
There are no taxes.
It's a scam....

That's what I thought. I assume there really isn't a way to sell your timeshare...jus tbe scammed out of money for it.

There are ways to sell a timeshare if they have any value. Most do not.

And if not, there are ways to give away a timeshare, sometimes with buyer paying closing and transfer, and sometimes with seller paying.

The top resorts during prime season (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Starwood, Disney, etc.) may have some resale value, but your average garden variety timeshare goes for 0-5% of original retail, on the resale market.

However, it is often possible to find someone who wants to adopt your timeshare (if it's paid off) which allows you to legally pass it on to someone who wants to own it, and gets you out from under the maintenance fees.
