A beautiful resort close to Animal Kingdom. A much more inexpensive way to enjoy Disney without out the high Disney hotel rates.

Capital Vacations bought Silver Lake Resort and are severing ties with RCI points at the end of this year.
Current and future owners may be able to deposit SLR week for TPU points. If that is the case, it is a desirable gold crown resort.

Hi, Jeff! Can you share where you heard this (that Capital Vacations is severing ties with RCI this year)? I'm Silver Lake and have been using RCI primarily, so this is alarming to hear through the grapevine. Thanks!

Capital owns Trading Places, so not surprising. They moved our TS from II to RCI to their internal trading mechanism (has had a couple different names) to now using Trading Places. I’d call Silver Lake & see what info you can get.
