Hi, all.
It's been a long time since I've gotten a special offer letter from II. Now I have an eoy resort that I'll never, ever go to so I need to deposit it w/ II. To deposit I'll have to renew my membership.

I'd rather /not/ pay $89 to do that, and there is a place for a promo code but google gave me nothing usable.

Does anybody have a valid code?

Currently, the codes are almost always resort specific, so one thing you can do is call II and ask for the desk for your resort, and ask if there are any discounts available.

Often if your resorts are all listed in your account the offer will appear in your "Deals" section if there is one. You are more likely to get an offer if you actually let your account lapse. I never can because of the timing of deposits and exchanges. II knows that and thus no deals for me. In the last 8 years, I got a 2 for 1 when I signed up. One time I got $35 off the normal 2 year renewal and once I got a 2 for 1.

I have been renewing 2 years for 1 year price for long time. Last year, they told me they will not give me 2 years for 1 year so I cancelled. Now I am with another trading company and it has been great.

II members do not know what they are missing in other exchange companies. I sure didn't.

It completely depends on where you want to go.

For instance, Starwood/Westin/Sheraton, Hilton, Hyatt, Disney, and Marriott are all affiliated with RCI and II, so they do not do bulk space banking with the independent exchange companies.
