I am trying to rent my [timeshare] which is reserved for [April.]
I have put an add here on Tugg, Craig's list, Vacationrental direct and My Resort Network. With the economy the way it is, I realize rentals are difficult.
What date do I have to deposit the week into II ,if not rented, to still be able to have some trading power?

Vicki

Please see the II FAQ at the top of the board for lots of info. about how II works.

Also - I deleted the specifics of your rental from your post, because you are not allowed to post rental info. in the forums, and I moved your question to the Exchanging Baord.

Sorry, I was not trying to advertise anything. I wanted to post the facts for an accurate answer to my question. I thought it should be posted in the rental forum because I am not trying to exchange anything. I was looking for an answer about if I didn't rent what time frame should I deposit. I was confused.

If you already have an II account, go online and run some searches to get an idea of how much trading value your week has now. The later you deposit, the less trading power you have. At 59 days before check-in, other restrictions kick-in and at some point, II won't accept your deposit at all (see the FAQ mentioned by DeniseM).
Dial an Exchange doesn't use trading power, so if you want to make a late deposit, that might be the place to do it without penalty. Even DAE has a deadline after which they will not accept a deposit. I've forgotten what it is. If no one chimes in with that information, look on DAE's website www.daelive.com or ask on the TUG "Ask DAE" forum.

No worries - I know it wasn't your intention to advertise, but when you post all the info. about a rental, it is virtually the same as an Ad, so we don't allow it.

Your question is about depositing with an exchange company and that is what the Exchanging Board is all about - so it is the best place for your question.

Good luck with your rental!
