I was looking at room types and Timber Lodge in Tahoe has a dedicated 1BR (OBVI) as well as a lockoff 1BR (TOMV). Any experts have any comments on the differences in location, view, building, etc? Are they scattered equally through the 2 buildings?

Timberlodge has mostly 2 BR units that can be converted to 1BR (OBVI) and a 1BR (TOMV). The OBVI has a kitchen and a washer & dryer, living room and dining table. The TOMV is a studio unit that has a sofa sleeper, and kitchenette (microwave mini-fridge coffee maker toaster plates & utensils). They are in both buildings.

The newer building (forgot the name) has 3 BR units, so I'm not sure how they convert those to 1BR or 1BRstudio.

Resort map. Sierra has the lobby, gym, kids club, and ski locker/valet - I find it more convenient than Alpine.

I suggest avoiding the rooms along Transit Way (faces another hotel) and the south facing side of Sierra (parking lot/bus station view)

This is incorrect. Both OBVI (dedicated) and TOMV (lockoff of 2BR) are 1BR units. TOMV is not a studio. The studio is room code TOGV.

I have stayed at this resort almost a dozen times. I am familiar with the buildings and layout. I was specifically interested if there is a pattern of where the dedicated 1BR OBVI units are. I just saw a post on another site that says they are on the corners. Not sure if this is accurate or not.
