We will be in Lake Tahoe at Timber Lodge for two weeks on an II exchange in several months and have two questions:

1)The Marriott confirmation specifies a charge of $4.50 per night. Is this true (like in Hawaii) or is it one of those things that shows up on Marriott confirmations but does not apply to owners and exchangers?

2) What is the parking situation at Timber Lodge? I know there is valet parking but is there also self-parking? Is there a charge for II exchangers? We have a 1BR the first week and a 3BR the second week when we will have guests. Are we limited to one car for the 3BR week?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

When we were there last October there was no additional charge, although there had been in previous visits. The only self parking would be in the casino lots. Marriott is all valet, but no charge for owners. Not sure about a three bedroom, but one car for two bedroom.

We're owners at Timber Lodge and have never been charged the $4.50 per night fee. My understanding is that you get 1 car free per night per villa, regardless of the size. I'd suggest you call the resort and ask them both questions. They can quickly clarify it.
