Just picked up an II Getaway 2 bed at Timber Lodge in mid-December for $419 plus taxes (II charges taxes for this resort!). Other 2-beds still listed in Dec... :)

Nice. Can you ski there at that time?

Good question. I was there this week in 2006 and Heavenly was open, but only a few runs were really decent and only a couple of lifts. It was the first real week of snow that year. But, it's still a great way to get out of town and relax!

thanksgiving normally marks opening of ski season w/ machines making snow up at heavenly. there hasnt been much decent natural snow the past few nov/dec's we've been up there

Several months ago I purchased a Getaway One-bedroom for Dec 6 for $299. I'm ready to go.

SO PRAY FOR SNOW!!!!

[We just got back from a week at Desert Ridge in Phoenix. What a wonderful place.]
