Hi All,

I was warned to know more about rescinding prior to doing it.
Does anyone know of a thread I can check to cover my bases before I do it?
I´m heading down real shortly, time is running out.

Thanks All

Although this How to rescind a Starwood TS thread is about rescinding a starwood TS almost all the info in the thread can be generalized for most people wanting to rescind.

PS thanks to Denise M for her great work on the how to rescind thread!!

In addition to the sage advice you'll find herein this forum, you need to read your contract carefully and follow the rescission clause (near the end) to the letter, especially as it relates to the method of delivery.

Do not assume that you can use Fed-X, UPS or some other courrier, as sometimes US Mail is required by statute. Sometimes, certified mail is specified, and sometimes its "regular mail that is is reguired. If in doubt, use muliple methods to deliver your notice.
