Thoughts on ground floor beachfront units - Royal Caribbean

Just wondering if anyone has stayed in G122, G123, G124 or A101, A102, A103. I'm a bit reluctant to purchase one of these because it is ground floor (ie. privacy issues) but at the same time can see how that might just be a real nice benefit as well ie. walk out to deck.

Also, wouldn't the view be less interesting as compared to say a higher unit in buildings B,C,E or F? Thinking in terms of looking at the fake grass rather than the top down view.

Any and all thoughts would be welcome - thanks.

Don't worry about security at the Royals nothing get past the guards. You don't see them but be assured they ARE there.

Ground floor units have less privacy obviously but the beach front units are set back behind an elevated sea wall so people on the beach don't generally have line of sight into the units.

I have owned ground floor beachfront at RC since it opened up. I have never had an issue with privacy. The only people who can see you on your balcony are your immediate next door neighbors... .if they happen to be out there. From the beach you can not see the ground floor units, and the only people that might be walking along the grass in front of the villas, are mostly likely on their footpath that leads to their patio. Security walks the sea wall all night long.

while it's easy enough to walk on down to the beach from any villa, we thorougly enjoy being able to walk out or door, and down a few steps to the sand.

with regard to the view, what you don't see is the waves crashing on the sand, or the people on the beach. Just an endless sea of blue oceans and skies. The birds will be frolicking on the grass in front of the patios. I'd be happy to e-mail you some actual pictures from the inside of the villa looking out and the patio. I'm in the H-building.

drawbacks: the maid sometimes close the sliding door and locks us out so we have to walk around to the front door. No water trough to wash the sand off your feet so you might track in a bit of it.
