Thinking of Branson...

We sold our timeshare this past year(with much TUG help!! ), now I need to plan our summer vacation without using a timeshare week. A friend mentioned Branson being a fun spot for a family vacation. My children are 9 and 5, while we all love the beach, we wanted to try somewhere new.

Are there deals to be had in Branson?? Don't mind sitting through a sales pitch..I'm quite good at saying no...

Loved Branson

We went to Branson few yrs ago- kids were 13 and 11- took my parents who were in mid 70's with us. We all loved it- Hubby was a bit leary- kept saying not a country music fan. He soon found out there was soo much more to do. We got some great deals on shows- and they are so great priced anyway. We had some seats in first 5 rows for 1/2 the price we would have paid for same show in nose bleed section here in CT. We were there 2 weeks- wished we had more time- beautiful scenery- people were so friendly I could go on and on - Kids will be 18 and 16 this summer and still talk about what a great trip it was- only negative was traffic in/out of shows- but hey to me it added to the experience
