the Solaz Presentation and shall I buy this timeshare?

So we went Fresko and a guy approached us. He is nice and polite and at the end, he said if we put in a deposit of $50, he will come pick up us and send us for a tour at Solaz. I though it is for sure a scam and later I read so many negative reviews online about how high pressure the sales pitch is and how horrible an experience they had. I have to say we actually enjoyed our 4 hours tour there. Correct it is not 75 mins, but we enjoyed it. They provided us free buffet breakfast (brunch), drinks the entire time including beer! And the sales representative is professional and not high pressure at all. Everyone was very nice to us, even at the end we didn't buy. We tried to negotiated a few deals, almost bought but didn't because of a $1500 price gap (sounds silly and stubborn)....but we like the property, we like the people there, we didn't feel being rushed or forced.

So we were offered something called a DGS travel system which is HDM's. it has a lot of discounted travel products there. But when I check with resale on redweek, the seller doesnt know what this is. I tried google/chatgpt..but couldnt find anything online mention this. Can anyone give me more info about this?

For the third home they include it as part of their generous offer. But I checked third home bascially if you have a luxury house/timeshare, you can put up yourself to trade....that's my understanding. so doesn't matter I buy from them or from resale.

Also, I noticed on SMTN, there are some resales, the RTU is forever....really? The resort said there are 10, 15, 25 years...not forever. We are interested in buying. But we like that GDStravel access Seems resale doesn't have that. If any owners here, if you would like to share some feelings and experience about this timeshare, we highly highly appreciate! I just couldn't find enough info about this timeshare...Thank you so much!!!

Those travel systems are all "sunshine and roses" until you try to use them.

Do yourself a favor and do not buy a Mexican timeshare or system. Buy a US timeshare (if you must) that can trade in to Mexican timeshares (if you want this).

I think Solaz, in the Cabo area anyway, is a Marriott property. I think it's part of the Bonvoy Luxury Collection. We own UVCI which is the Villa Group and the Venetian, a UVCI resort, is the property north of the Solaz. Very nice area. Walking distance to Chileno Bay. Our only visit to the Venetian was a tour so far.

I would do a Solaz Tour.

We actually enjoyed the tour it’s the best tour we had (free buffet branch, many drinks alcohol and non alcohol) they treated us very well.
