This week's episode of The Simpsons pokes fun of timeshares, timeshare salespeople, and even timeshare exit companies. Worth a watch if you’re a fan of the show. It's also a parody of the show “White Lotus.”

So would that be Season 36 Episode 3? We have Disney + which has all seasons, including the current one.

There was also an episode a couple of seasons back where Grampa fell for the scam where his alleged grandchild called needing money to be bailed out of jail.

I don't see the current season (36) on Disney +. Perhaps it is only available in Canada?

I wonder if something personal brought TSs to the front of the writer's mind. Matt Groening, iirc, or w/o the 2nd "n"

watched it this morning, certainly got a few chuckles!

especially liked the part where the salesman claimed he didnt sell timeshares anymore because there was more money in scamming people getting out of timeshares!

I went to a meeting with an exit company last month purely to get the $100 they were offering and to hear the latest scheme. I almost laughed out loud when the guy told me he used to sell timeshares for Wyndham but got out because he feels better about what he's doing now!

"felt so bad about what i was doing to people selling timeshares, but now I get to help them get out!"

Just watched that episode. Promise a couple with a family with dream vacations in luxury resorts. But never deliver the product.

That salesperson now realizes that they can make more money by helping that couple and other couples liked them by being an exit timeshare sale person. Sad.

Never trust a timeshare salesperson if their lips are moving. IMHO.

I couldn't help but chuckle when the resort decided to separate the kids from the adult pool. As if any resort would enforce those policies!
