Yeah. I still don’t understand why bHC owners aren’t allowed to use each other’s lounges, that way I would book other bHC locations with my points. Now I won’t.Looks interesting. But with no lounge for non-owners we'll stick to W. 57th.
Cheers.
I’m wondering why you can’t book a penthouse but the other rooms just fine?
I’ve eaten at the Wayfarer twice - pretty good fare and nice upscale atmosphere. It is certainly better than the Herb N’ Kitchen at the midtown Hilton (home of Hilton Club and The Residences) and is on the Elevated Rewards discount list.Prices range from $30,990 - $499,990, subject to change. So that is Gold studio 3,750 points, to 1 bedroom penthouse, platinum, 21,000 points. It says "Restaurant onsite" - I did not know that. http://www.thewayfarernyc.com/
Does W57 have 2 bedroom , 2 bath units ?
Rue 57 is great. All the classic French dishes--quiche, steak frites, onion soup, etc. The pommes frites are to die for. Remi, next to the midtown Hilton also takes elevated rewards and is good if you're in the mood for Italian. Thanks @Smclaugh99 we'll have to try Wayfarer next time we visit. We also want to try Rue 57 which is kitty corner to that. They take elevated rewards too.
Now I am missing the Big Apple!
Although not an owner at W57th, I was staying there last year during the blackout in NYC. They opened the lounge and patio for everyone, especially those not able or willing to walk up to their floors. I grabbed a lounger out on the patio. It was from there I saw stars in NYC. Never seen stars while in NYC before, probably NOT again, either.
@JohnPaul good point. The lounges may have to operate quite differently and remove the buffet.
They may have to serve it, but they should still be able to have the booze. I'm good
Cheers.
LOL The alcohol will kill ALL germs. I like that approach. Sure beats sanitizer.
