Great reminder. We just booked President's day skiing for 2021 in the Rockies since the hotel calendar just opened. What I like about using points is that reservations can be cancelled up to 2 days prior if we find ourselves ill, or find a decent timeshare trade or good rental deal instead.

I was on hold for 45 minutes this morning with no answer and had to leave. On hold, this afternoon for over an hour to order the certificate and the associate kept putting me on hold as he couldn't figure out what to do once I did get an associate to help. Coming up on hour 2 now to actually make the reservation and attach the certificate.

We have never been to Aspen, so it is fortunate that the W Aspen has been downgraded from 8 to 7. The Westin Playa Bonita in Panama, was recently featured on “Married At First Sight”. It looks wonderful and has been down graded from level 4 to level 3. The Sheraton Bijao Beach Resort all-inclusive in Panama, has been downgraded from level 6 to a level 5. Unfortunately, much of our dream list has been upgraded and will cost more points. We have already booked our travel plans for the next year.

Yikes! I just happened to see this posting. I booked 2 nights at the Residence Inn Oahu Kapolei for October on 2/26 using 70,000 points. That same reservation is now 100,000 points. I'm so glad that I decided to book early. I had planned to wait a few months.
