Okay, time for some controversy not COVID-19 related. Given the current stay at home situation many of us are in, we opted to sign up for Disney Plus. We have read and heard all the raves about The Mandalorian, how great it is! I certainly am not a huge Star Wars fan. I have seen a number of the movies, but the originals were a little before my time I suppose and they never caught on with me when I was a kid. But after hearing about Mandalorian, I though this has to be good. Well...... IT IS NOT. IT SUCKS!

I don't get all the hype. We are already five episodes in and there is no character development and ZERO plot to this show. It is incredibly BORING. You don't feel attached to the main character in anyway. If he saves the day or gets killed, does it matter. Editing seems poorly done and the acting is kind of hokey. Other than the Baby Yoda or whatever it is supposed to be, I don't understand all the hype. Certainly there isn't something wrong with me? Wait, maybe I shouldn't ask that question...

I have not watched this yet but plan to do so as these weeks just breeze by.....

But at an arm's length distance, I wondered about the development of yet another character in/from the SW universe. It is sad to see what Star Wars has become - especially in the hands of Disney.
