We went to this in 2006, and it was really fun - good music, theater, food, shopping. Xmas week turned out to be a great time to be in SF.

The kicker was, just as we arrived at the Cow Palace prepared to pay the entrance fee, a stranger approached us and offered us a pair of free tickets. We asked what's the catch, but there wasn't one - he just wasn't going to use them. Turned out he had obtained these as a gift ... for attending a timeshare presentation! (May have been Shell Vacation Club.)

Sounds like fun. It might be something my dds would enjoy over their Christmas break. :D

I took a quick look at the website. You can take BART, they run a free shuttle from the BART station AND by showing your BART ticket you get a $5.00 discount at the door. Pretty cool!

Luanne, if you end up going you might see a poor peasant girl at Cuthbert's Tea Shoppe. That will be my daughter. :)
