At least, it's in the Apple store. I can't, however, actually get fully logged in. First, I was able to log in with my password, verify with a text code, then it got stuck on an "enable Face ID?" screen where all the buttons were unresponsive. I went through that twice, and now when I open the app it just hangs on an animated splash screen.

Is this the correct one? It says it has been around for 17 years?

It’s in the Apple app store but has yet to be announced for general use. Until the official announcement has been sent its use at your own risk - as you have clearly already discovered.

It is in the Google Play store. I installed it yesterday and was shocked by how usable it was.... I am still holding my breath as I expect the fact it worked was a fluke... and I expect it will have similar inventory challenges as the website. The UI and ease of use was quite surprising, though. It will certainly be used.

Now that I'm in it and looking around, one area that I think will cause some confusion is the way the benefit summary is presented, and it's pretty prominent on the main page of the "account" section. I know how the benefit summary works, and even I was confused when I first saw it, lol. I was actually looking for RCI on the app (and ultimately, I found where RCI deposit is, but I don't see a link to RCI - which would have to take you to a browser anyway).

Anyway, my path was that I was in the main account tab, scrolled down, and saw "Deposit & Exchange" (which I didn't initially notice was under a heading of "Benefit summary"), expanded that section, and saw 612,500 points "available" for RCI, and 283,250 "available" for points deposit for 2024. Which will confuse people, because while I have a benefit allowance remaining of that many points for points deposit, (1) I have zero points remaining in 2024, and (2) I am many months past my points deposit deadline. Everything in the benefit summary is framed as "pts available" which is sure to make people think they have, you know, points available. Even if they do not have any points actually available. Once again, Wyndham's ability to communicate information clearly and without confusion leaves a lot to be desired. (Edited to add screenshot)

Edited again to say that something like "remaining benefit allowance" (or something more concise) would be more accurate. The problem really seems to be that what they've done is combined the points summary and benefits summary tabs from the website into one screen in the app, but "available points" at the top of that screen, which is real available points, doesn't mean the same thing as "pts available" farther down the same screen, which is the remaining benefit allowance for each of the various benefits.

Whoopsie? Or future enhancement? (Inadvertent copy from Worldmark?)

Wyndham took a LOT of user feedback on this app - both @Richelle and I participated in multiple sessions earlier this year on the UI experience and features. Please remember this is only v1 - there's a lot of recommendations we made that aren't in v1 because you have to start somewhere. What's being released soon is a good start - and there are several features within the app that are also being implemented on the website. This is a good thing folks. It won't be perfect of course, so please report issues into this thread moving forward and provide supporting data/steps whenever possible so that we can attempt to repro the reported issues back to Wyndham on an ongoing basis. It would also be useful to know, when doing so, if the reported issue is unique to the app itself, or if you are also experiencing the same reported issue on the website itself.

AFAIK since the Worldmark and Club Wyndham websites were moved to the same back end and are using the same front-end infrastructure/application management platform - there will be a Worldmark app as well - though IDK if/when this will come to market.

I mainly was wondering where "Points transfer" came from since it's not something we can do in Club Wyndham. (And after further looking, only appears in my current use year and not future use years.)

Overall, I am enjoying the app
It is well thought out and so far no major hick ups

Bonus Question: Does anyone know they are planning an app for RCI?

Strictly for Wyndham?
I use the existing RCI app for my weeks account…
