Now that I'm in it and looking around, one area that I think will cause some confusion is the way the benefit summary is presented, and it's pretty prominent on the main page of the "account" section. I know how the benefit summary works, and even I was confused when I first saw it, lol. I was actually looking for RCI on the app (and ultimately, I found where RCI deposit is, but I don't see a link to RCI - which would have to take you to a browser anyway).
Anyway, my path was that I was in the main account tab, scrolled down, and saw "Deposit & Exchange" (which I didn't initially notice was under a heading of "Benefit summary"), expanded that section, and saw 612,500 points "available" for RCI, and 283,250 "available" for points deposit for 2024. Which will confuse people, because while I have a benefit allowance remaining of that many points for points deposit, (1) I have zero points remaining in 2024, and (2) I am many months past my points deposit deadline. Everything in the benefit summary is framed as "pts available" which is sure to make people think they have, you know,
points available. Even if they do not have any points actually available. Once again, Wyndham's ability to communicate information clearly and without confusion leaves a lot to be desired. (Edited to add screenshot)
Edited again to say that something like "remaining benefit allowance" (or something more concise) would be more accurate. The problem really seems to be that what they've done is combined the points summary and benefits summary tabs from the website into one screen in the app, but "available points" at the top of that screen, which is real available points, doesn't mean the same thing as "pts available" farther down the same screen, which is the remaining benefit allowance for each of the various benefits.
