The 75 Best Android Apps - by Jill Duffy, Sara Yin/ PCMag.com

A lot of garbage lands in the Android Market, thanks to a relatively low barrier to entry.

PCMag did some of the dirty work for you and selected 75 quality Android apps.

Many of the Apps on the list you're familiar with but probably not all of them.

I discovered one I wasn't familiar with and it looks like a great find. Check out the free App 'CamScanner'.

CamScanner is a very handy utility that lets you photograph a document - like a receipt, driver's license, health insurance card – and save it as a PDF. From there you can crop and enhance the image and send it via SMS or email, or upload it to a cloud server. A January update adds password protection to specific documents.

I have both 'Catch' and 'Evernote' in my Apps file but mainly use Catch probably because I started using Catch before I learned about Evernote. If anyone has used both of these Apps, could you post which one you like better and why.

Thanks

Richard

It's hard to beat Evernote, but that could be a personal preference for some. Evernote has a desktop client which is a plus. I use it to sync information across pc, tablet and phone.

I use CamScanner quite often to grab quick scans of various documents. I have a lot of travel, weather, entertainment, sports and business apps, but one worthy of mention is Documents to Go for the ability to view email attachments.
