LOL! Clearly the list is for schools with longer lists of alums. I mean, Knoxville? I've always been partial to Bloomington. It's my Mecca. Have to agree with #1 though, and I do love the entrance to Stanford

Can't beat Brown County in the Fall. Loved hiking through Shades State park Turkey Run State park south of Crawfordsville.

awe, you are tugging at my heartstrings and bringing tears to my eyes. Love those spots and a quite a few others, including canoeing on Sugar Creek. Love the sunshine and all the natural beauty of AZ but those SPs are pulling me back

#1 is a good choice. It's a fun list to look at. Alabama is an interesting one. The campus is gorgeous but Tuscaloosa as a town? Hmmmmmm....

There are very few of these college towns that I would consider living in. Maybe Austin or Chapel Hill.

Ann Arbor and Madison are great towns! I would live in Ann Arbor in a heartbeat if it weren't so expensive. It has a sense of community that I love. It reminds me of an upscale Marquette (I went to school at Northern Michigan University) so maybe that's why I like it so much. Very into local businesses and community awareness. Gamedays in fall are so much fun.

Madison (or Mad Town) is a great college town, but I would not like to live there. It's pretty wild on gamedays. Bars are packed and the students are doing what students do best on Friday/Saturday nights. You couldn't ask for a better football setting, though.
