We will be at the resort for the holiday and we’re wondering where people might have gotten their turkey (ready to eat) while there. We can prepare most of the other items we’ll want (though would consider purchased food if something were particularly tasty), the turkey would be a problem for us.

TIA for your input!

Publix offers a turkey dinner, not the best sides, but it does come with sides. Pick up on Wednesday. Winn Dixie does the same. Cracker barrel offered it in the past, with pickup on thanksgiving, but the turkey is sliced, not an entire turkey

Publix has multiple options and you can get the Turkey by itself, usually including a smaller turkey breast. Often Cracker Barrel does just fried Turkeys as well. Fresh Market normally has options, there's one in Naples. I'd also check with the take out BBQ, Michelbob's, to see if they do Turkey at that time of year even though it's not a regular menu item. If not, they likely know who does or will as it gets closer. Since you're cooking in anyway, you might just buy a turkey breast to cook. We've gotten them from Sam's several times in this situation. There are likely smaller operations that do this privately, the resort might have information as you get closer. The Marriott normally does a large buffet if that's an option.

If you don't mind driving to Naples, then go to the Honey Baked Ham store. They have a big secret: They sell Honey Baked Turkeys!

Their hams are excellent, so I would assume their turkey is also. Haven't personally tried it but I would think that could be a really good option for you.

These are some great ideas! Will look into each one of them as the time draws nearer.

We received a gift of a ham from Amanda Colonies, the most delicious I can remember. They also sell smoked Turkeys.
