Other carriers may already have this, but I must tell you this has made my day.
My cell is my work line too....I have to answer it when it rings, no matter what the number. The junk calls have been increasing over time.

But today, my phone rang and the name was "possible spam". And a bit later a text from Verizon.

Your phone is now enrolled in free spam protection. Verizon Call Filter detects spam and blocks high-risk spam calls by forwarding to your voicemail.

Sweet!

Just so you know I have found half the time it doesn’t work.

I have found that it doesn't work most of the time when the caller is spoofing someone else's phone number. Is that your experience or are "honest" spam calls getting through?

BTW - I got a call from myself once...

I believe the calls coming through are calls spoofing someone else’s phone number.

Also twice I got calls that said Potential spam and they weren’t.
