My husband and I had three weeks of timeshares that we had inherited or been given by family. We tried to get out of two weeks, first by listing with the realtor through Deercreek in Surfside Beach, SC. Then we tried Redweek.com and got no inquiries after posting an ad on their site for one year. Thankfully, we only spent $149 with Redweek.

Then we tried TUG with an ad starting in late April. We got several inquiries within the first month and then were contacted by someone who wanted both of our weeks! We just finished the quit claim deed to transfer to him and are very grateful.

We listed as free and we prepaid the next maintenance fee, so that each week could be used once before the new owner has to pay fees. We never thought getting out of a timeshare was possible. Hope this will encourage other owners!

Thanks for showing that one does not have to pay a charity, PCC, law firm, or exit company to get out of a timeshare.

So happy for you. Between tug marketplace and bargain section I always have been able to find a new home for a timeshare I didn’t use. Happy Tugger, Happy me.
