We are going to Texas for two weeks - week one in Montgomery and the second in Freeport. We'd like to take a bus tour to San Antonio to see the Alamo and the Riverwalk. It's about a 5 hour drive and neither of us wish to drive it ourselves. I've looked up Greyline and a few other buses, but it's unclear that they drive from the area where we are staying. Any suggestions? Joyce

Check greyhound

Check to see if Greyhound goes there. I hope if you make the trip you stay at least overnight or maybe two nights. Check hotwire for hotels near ther riverwalk.

We tried to get a San Antonio and a Galveston-or-Houston timeshare for the two weeks. We just did this in very early January for late March so we really didn't give it much time. Unusual for us. So we'd still like to see San Antonio, but we may just wait for another vacation. My husband and I were considering doing the drive ourselves and staying over a night, but thought a bus tour would be better yet. Thanks, Joyce
