At 7am this morning an automated reminder email system sent off a message in error to many thousands of TUG members.
We apologize for the error in the message but by the time it was caught we couldnt do anything about the emails that had already been sent. you can safely delete the message, and those who received it need to take no action (it was not a message for anything expiring or similar).
Hopefully this will be a one time issue but I do apologize for the confusion it may have caused...and based on my email inbox this morning...that was alot of confusion! =)
