Hi folks, i am new to this. I finally started to make plans to list my rental on booking.com. I have some booked weeks at a Wyndham resort in Kauai. Near the end of the listing process on booking.com it asks for a “Hawaii Registration Identification Number”. I have no idea what that is.

I am not a American citizen or resident. I am Canadian citizen and simply own this time share in Kauai and would like rent out the week?

Does anyone know about this? Do i need to get a number? Does Airbnb also ask for the number? Does the resort have a number that i can piggyback off of? Can i pay them the tax and then use their number?

Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated. I would like to comply with whatever laws there are around this, but at the same time, hoping to not complicate things needlessly. I am not doing this a main source of income, simply just want to rent out my one measly little week. :)

Thank you kindly,

SP
