We stayed there last October, my husband, myself and both out elderly mothers. Our unit was VERY outdated - furniture, appliances, kitchenware...
The unit itself could have been very nice - it seemed spacious and well laid out.
My husband upon entering the unit for the first time broke the porch step and the handrail fell off in his hand - my husband only weights about 170 tops. Luckily it was him and not either of the moms!! The maintenance man immediately came by and fixed it and was extremely apologetic, noone else seemed to care too much.
The stove had something that had obviously spilled over into a large puddle on the oven floor which noone had bothered to try to clean up, we had mismatched pots/pans/lids with none really usable

phone in unit very rarely worked.
Backs of dining room chairs actually had broken out and we had to be careful of the wood splinters. Sliding doors did not close right. There were many things really broken down terribly.
There was NO activities/recreaction/pool/ or anything onsite...
Since our home resort is Massanutten this was very disappointing, definately not what we are used to.
Since by brother lives in Tannersville Ski Side was very convenient - if we were to visit again, we would again probably stay here - but we would be much better prepared!! Hopefully the units have all been redone by now, because it really is a shame to see somewhere that really could be very pleasant be SO rundown.
We were thrilled one morning to have a bear wander across the lawn right past our door one morning!!
