Sutherland Crossings
Don't know how close you want to be to downtown Tampa, but Sutherland Crossings(Crystal Beach) is off of Hwy. 19A between Tarpon Springs & Clearwater Beach. The timeshare units are 3 bedroom, 2 bath houses in a natural setting and are away from the congestion of traffic.
The resort is on the water, but there is no beach. There is a nice dock & pool at the resort. Beaches are nearby. There is free internet at the clubhouse, but if your house is near enough to clubhouse, you may be able to connect in your unit. Since it's been a couple of years since we stayed there, they may have internet in the units now. Call to find out. Read my reviews which are pretty detailed. If you should to get a house there, be sure to go to the Lucky Dill to eat, there are specials different nights of the week. Coupons are in the Tampa Bay Times(free newspaper at various stores). Food is great & there's lots of it on your plate.
