My daughter and her 3 friends, all beginning their senior year at college, are headed to Orlando to visit a friend who is interning at the Disney College. I've booked them into a 2 bdrm at SVV and confirmed that a 21 year old can check in to the resort.

However, the rental car rates for drivers under 21 are astronomical. Not sure I want them driving anyway.

Is anyone familiar with the shuttles from SVV to Disney? It's going to be low season (December 19 to December 24) so I think that they cut back on the routes, but I can't find anything official.

Do you think shuttles will be adequate? They can also do Uber and take taxis, but not sure if that will be as expensive as renting a car.

Any advice you can give, other than me booking a ticket and chauffering them around.

Do you or does anyone in your family qualify for USAA membership? If so, the under-25 surcharges will be waived if you book a rental car at any of the major agencies through their link.

I can't speak directly about the shuttles from SVV to Disney but I can tell you its a $50 cab ride from MCO to SVV. Once there the I drive Trolly can get them to the store, shopping etc for a very low fee.
