Can anyone tell me what is supplied in the unit by the resort? For example, coffee filters, bath soap, paper towels, dish & dishwasher detergent, salt/pepper,etc.

Also, we are in an Aspen Highlands 2 bedroom- do those units have hairdryers in the bathrooms?

Thanks, as the Girl Scout motto goes "Be prepared"!

so far as I know all units have a hairdryer in one of the bathrooms - but a quick call to the resort should answer your question for definite. Ask for Housekeeping or Owner Services for the best chance of an accurate response!

(apologies if I get the terminology wrong, I'm English!) we usually get small bars of soap & a couple of toilet rolls in the bathrooms, dishwashing detergent liquid and cloth/sponge in the kitchen, plus sometimes a few plastic waste bin liners. not usually any dishwasher detergent or coffee filters (don't know if the coffee machines need paper filters or not). never any salt/pepper or other condiments.

If you stay more than 7 nights you will get a mid-stay housekeeping visit and they usually replenish items then. (you can also ask for more regular housekeeping visits for a small extra fee if you want)

the Country Store in the resort stocks all the essentials - many in small quantities, at what seems like a reasonable price to us.
There is a general store in Jeffersonville which stocks most everyday items and larger supermarkets in Morrisville and Johnson.

we always bring salt/pepper/herbs & spices from home plus other items we only use in small quantities such as, instant coffee, sugar and "proper english" teabags, or which you can't buy in the US such as marmite.
when the kids were younger we also brought tins of "english" heinz baked beans, Tesco peanut butter and other 'essentials' all the way from the UK, but thats another story!

I've stayed in many of the buildings including AH and always had dishwasher detergents, (small packets) ; they are under the sink with some other supplies.

All the things that you mentioned except salt/pepper have been in all my units, (we rent/trade back in ) and if you need replacements you can call housekeeping and they are there asap.
Coffee machines use a permanent filter (you'll see) - a little basket that gets rinsed out.

Kitchens are very well equipped with dishes/silver/glasses and all have some crockery for heating/ cooking/reheating - basic pots and pans and things for storing leftovers in the fridge.
There is actually a list of supplies showing what is supposed to be in the unit, a laminated sheet, in one of the small drawers in the kitchen . What is actually in the unit seems to vary by unit but I'm sure if you want something they will bring it.

Enjoy your stay!!

And Helen, your terminology was spot on :)

supplies at Smuggs

The first time we stayed at Smuggs, the unit we were in (MountainView) did not have a hairdryer. It might be worth a call to make sure.

Just to clarify, Mountainview is not a timeshare unit, but privately owned and could have whatever supplies they want to have, or not.

The building you will be in is a timeshare and recently Smugglers installed hairdryers in their timeshare club units. This was the first summer we had them and they were in both units we stayed in. You can still call to double check.
