What's going on with this years NFL big bash?

1. Madonna playing at half-time? Who made that decision?

2. Kim Kardashian replaced in a commercial by a dog. Now that's funny!

Not completely sure who decided Madonna but the host committee has been hard at work for a long time now.

They haven't determined who sings National Anthem, talking about maybe Kelly Clarkson since she sang for Indy 500.

IMO, replacing a Kardasspeon with ANYTHING is good.

We're excited. City is energized and ready to welcome fans. Haven't trekked downtown to see how prep is coming.

I will be volunteering in the NFL Experience. Much of the training was how not to get hit in the face with a football.

Well I for one am not interested in Madonna's performance. Hopefully there will be no wardrobe malfunctions. In the words of Chris Rock, nobody wanted to see Janet Jackson's "40 year old titties" . . . I'm pretty sure even fewer want to see Madonna's 50 year olds!

I blame the baby boomers.

Halftime hasn't had one act that's less than 30 years past it's sell-by date since 1994. Apparently, anything even close to relevant and topical is wayyyyy too "edgy" for an audience that wants to listen to the same garbage they've been listening to all their lives.

Let's put a turtleneck on Andy Williams and trot him out for 2013.

Oh I don't know about that. While a "boomer favorite" and into his 60's, I thought Bruce Springsteen did a great job a few years back. But I guess I'm making your point :)

Didn't the Black-Eyed Pears play last year? They bombed so we need to bring back the old-timers. I say bring in Mick Jaeger and the (OLD) Rolling Stones.

I usually download the ads after the game. I'm really more a Rugby Union fan and American football is too stop start for my tastes.

They should try and get Danaka, she does some fairly decent commercials. :D
