Summer Bay - Houses & Villas

How far apart are they? We have a house confirmed and a villa on hold for extra family members. Since we haven't been there I was wondering if someone could tell me if they are close enough to make this a good idea?

They are probably about a five minute walk. You will absolutely love the House! Enjoy!

Take the House anytime you can get it. It's nice.

Of course, I'd hate to be in the one right next to the main pool and clubhouse due to the noise.

I had a house and villa two years ago and it worked out fine. I requested a villa in the newer bldgs (500#) and had a house closer to the beginning/entrance of the street. You should call Summer Bay prior to your date and make the request. I would love to stay in those houses again. We've stayed in them twice.

Thanks - We have confirmed the villa as well as the house. I will call ahead to make a location request - so we should request the newer building for the villa and where for the house? We have not visited the property so I have no idea where they are located. How far ahead should I call? Our reservation starts 12/19 and I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks again - TUGGERS always have the answers.

You can contact Summer Bay about 2 weeks in advance. They try very hard to fill your requests. It's also a good idea to arrive as early as you can. If you don't like the house or villa, always ask to be changed. We've done this several times without a problem. BTW, we never take anything out of the car when vacationing at a timeshare/hotel until we check everything about the unit just in case there's a problem. We were in the Poconos (PA) several years ago and changed our unit 5 times. (Tree Tops-never again!)
