Suggestions on resorts for a reunion?

The torch has been passed on to me to organize a family reunion for about 40 folks from babies to seniors. My grandfather can't travel too far from his home in Framingham, MA. My uncle suggested I find some resorts around the New England States. Does anyone have any suggestions on resorts to hold a family reunion in or around Massachusetts? It will either be end of June or beginning of August 2010. I'm from the West Coast so am not familiar with resorts out there. They also thought Smuggler's Notch was too far. Thanks.

If Smuggs is too far for you, you are severely restricted in range. Smuggs would be hard to line up for reasonable cost and impossible to get trades in that season. Given your restrictions, you might look at resorts on the Cape. Cove at Yarmouth or Riverview might be possibilities for exchange and/or rentals but you'd best start working on it now as Cape Cod in Jul/Aug isn't easy either.

Framingham is way over on the eastern side of Massachusetts, so the Berkshires (on the western side) are too far, right?

Have you considered a non-timeshare resort that's very close to Framingham? Or how about renting a large house on Cape Cod?

I don't plan to exchange into a timeshare. Just needed to fine a decent resort that would allow me to hold a reunion there. Cape Cod would be nice. I'm not familiar with that side of the Coast so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Suggestions would allow me to start from somewhere. :D
