I had a good experience buying from GC Getaways over a year ago. However, I started a purchase in early December with them (paid and purchase agreement signed) and 90 days in not much responsiveness and no indication if it cleared a 30 day ROFR.

I have been waiting until my transaction is complete (without a doubt) to post an update. I believe my problem was an employee dropped the ball or left and I was finally able to get things back on track. I have a copy of the filed deed and am waiting for the resort to recognize it. Savannah has been quite responsive since I have been dealing with her.

You should search TUG, I believe there are other threads. My memory is @Eric B has had a purchase stuck with them as well.

I paid $0 for what I bought and only paid the resort's transfer fee. I would give careful thought before paying considerably more.

I bought an expensive timeshare from them, paid in full. Then ROFR was exercised. I promptly received a full refund.
