Studio Side of WKORVN missing from Marriott.com.

Reservation for 2bdrm lockoff is correct in Vistana. 1 bdrm side shows up in Marriott.com. Studio missing. In the past both showed on Marriott.com Should I be worried?

I would probably call the resort to verify. Whereas I have the opposite problem. I cancelled a Nanea vacation this year, traded it in and no longer own it, but the week still shows on Marriott, but not vistana... makes me wonder if that room is still blocked off, or if I should show up and see what happens.. lol... the connectivity between the two leaves a lot to be desired.

The reservation is showing at Vistana, which is the authoritative site for our reservations. The Vistana / Marriott connection (and Starwood before that) was never reliable. Why would you suggest anyone waste time calling when the reservation displays correctly at the site where the reservation was booked? If you call Vistana, they’ll say of course it’s fine (“and you can see it in your account”), and if you call Marriott they won’t have any idea what you’re talking about…even if the reservation is listed. And the resort would say we see it…since they have what shows from Vistana. Just being realistic…

Actually, I suggested them calling because they are obviously concerned about it, and when they called the resort they verified it, he could relax. My point was that we are aware it is screwed up, but sometimes a little closure can help. If they weren't concerned, they wouldn't have posted. I thought my suggestion could help clear the mind.. and that is never a waste of time.

I appreciate that. However, if we recommend everyone call to find resolution for every post on TUG we'd never have time for anything else! :)

Thanks all for your thoughts on this. I did call and they confirmed the reservation for 2 bdrm and said they have no idea why Marriott.com is different. We will need to make sure that we get credits for nights when we check in with our Marriott number.

Personally, I avoid calling Vistana like the plague! The best course of action is to log into your account and see what's there in black and white. There's a lot of good info there if you poke around. If you can't find what you need - don't call: use the Dashboard message function and get an answer in writing. Vistana puts the more experienced Reps on the messages, because they don't want to put incorrect info in writing.

It was no big deal. They now have a call back function so they called me back in about 35 minutes. Hanging on hold is what drives me crazy.

Did not know there was a chat feature. IMHO for many banks, I find the least experienced, least empowered people work on the chat channel. Most of the time the tell me that they cannot help so call the number instead.

I'm actually talking about sending a written message and receiving a response in writing - not chat. I get the most accurate info sending a written message, and the least accurate from the phone Reps. I wish I'd written down all of the stupid things I've been told by phone Reps over the years:

- Even if you have an oceanfront reservation, it's not a guarantee that you will be assiged to an oceanfront room.
- If the guest smokes in the unit, the owner will be charged $250.
- You should not swim in the ocean in Hawaii, because there are sharks and it is dangerous.

If they respond to this channel that is great. I have encountered so many companies that have a messaging function and I never get a response.

If you’re thinking that using the entire two bedroom lock off will get you credit for two rooms per night with Bonvoy, I think you’re going to be disappointed. It never has for me, at least.

Correct as the Bonvoy T&C allow only one night elite credit per night regardless of number of rooms.
