I have two desktop computers both HP. My old one has XP Home Edition for operating system. My new one has Vista Premium Home Edition.

I have always used My Yahoo for my Internet Home page on both computers. I have never used Google for a home page. My new computer is fine, Yahoo pops right up just like its supposed to do. The old computer is the one thats acting up. No matter how many times I tell it to make Yahoo my home page, it keeps reverting back to Google as the home page. Since I never used Google on it to begin with in all the years I have had it, how can it just decide it wants Google and not Yahoo? I have gone into Internet options and told it there to make Yahoo the only home page. It stays that way until I shut the computer off, when I turn it back on Google is back.

Its is the strangest thing. I even went to search and deleted every file that came up with Google on it. I also went into add/remove programs and could not find anything there that had Google on it. It still keeps showing up. Anyone have any ideas on how to stop it from doing this?

Do you have a Google Tool Bar on the computer? If you do, THAT might be telling it to keep Google as your home page. Just guessing...
