Staying Connected While Sheltering in Place

Just curious of ways TUGGERS are connecting with friends and family while following “Social Distancing” and “shelter in place” practices.

So far ours are:
• Zoom meetings with family and friends (over dinner, for “happy hour”, or just anytime)

• Trickster Cards - can set up your own virtual card game with family and friends with video or audio.

Phone calls.

Phone calls, texts, Facebook. With the exception of one friend of mine, and sometimes my brother or my son or brotherinlaw, I find I have to be the one to make a phone call.

I don't know what is wrong with my husband but he never calls anyone. My brotherinlaw calls him and has even commented that my husband never calls him or anyone. I nag him about it and he still doesn't call anyone. Not like he is busy! His other friend in Florida used to call him but has not since after we first moved here.

Last time one of his other freinds called him was when a friend in common passed away over the summer.

I called my maid of honor last evening and was on the phone almost two hours with her- LOL! I am the opposite!

We are getting more restrictions starting tomorrow. But I am able to go to my farms whenever I want. By the time this is over they will be as good as a golf course.

There is a group of us that have started a Friday happy hour via Zoom. We have different themes each week. Last Friday was formal. This Friday is Hawaiian.

On the downside I don’t leave my bedroom without being fully dressed. Between my husband and kids there are too many Zoom meetings going on around the house.
