Staying at Tuscany; any bonus owner benefits

First official HGVC stay as an owner this weekend. We are at Tuscany primarily to hit some Disney stuff. Is there any extra benefit to being an owner such as sitting through a quick owner update or anything to get some perks?Anything else I should be aware of?

The "owner update" is just a way to try to sell you another timeshare. I would avoid them, the perks offered aren't worth it. If you want to buy more points, buy them on the resale market, not direct from HGVC, unless you want to be an Elite owner.

Oh yes I should clarify zero interest in actually buying anything from them. Just looking for any bonus things for while we are here like gift certificates or some thing

Not sure if they are owner only, but the concierge should have some coupons, freebies and discount cards hand out to you. How good they are depends on where you are staying. The resorts in Myrtle Beach have, in the past, gave away a free day at the local Go-Kart Park. They also have free passes for water parks and mini-golf. We never used them, but some of the restaurants had up 20% off the meal with the discounts.

I‘ve never stayed at Tuscany (or any of the Orlando resorts) so I’m not sure how those stack up.

We avoid those things like the plague, which given COVID... they are.
But even today, when offered $100 at a non-HGVC TS, and we said no.
My vacation time is not for sale, no matter what they put on my nightstand.

But hey, to each their own.
