Staying at Grande Ocean during construction

I have planned a trip to Grande Ocean on HHI in early December. When I filled out the forms to confirm the exchange, I had to check that I read their note saying that the resort would be undergoing some renovation during our stay. I had read notes from others staying at a Marriott property in Vegas that was undergoing renovation and they all said that it had not posed a problem.

I"m hoping I haven't made a mistake by agreeing to stay there during renovation. Any thoughts?

You won't be making a mistake. Marriott renovates only one or two of the 10 buildings at a time. Although some of this winter's work will be roof and facade work, most of it is interior painting and soft goods replacement.

However, if you are concerned, call the resort about two weeks before check-in, ask for Rooms Control and request a preference for a unit in a building away from the renovation work.

Thanks Dave. Sounds like good advice.
