I'd like to max points and use gift card for my room charges. Can I eat a Champions, let's say and charge to my Surf Club room tab?

Upon check in at Surf Club you can register a "credit card" which will allow you to sign for charges anywhere in the resort (SC,OC, Hotel). Champions just sign name and room #. I have never used a "gift card" to settle up a bill and do not know if it is allowed. My best advise is to inquire upon check-in to see if there are restrictions. Enjoy your stay.

Joe,
We have charged to our room at all three resorts in the past. Last year I used a gift certificate to pay most of our bill. If I remeber correctly I went to the desk the day before check out and applied the gift card to the bill. Then when they slipped the invoice for our stay under the door the night before checkout it showed the gift card applied and just the remender of the bill charged to our credit card. Also the dinner for 2 certificate worked at Simply Fish and we saved alot. I just ordered another for this years visit 1/30 thru 2/13.

That's excellent. I have about $1100 in gift cards, so I'd like to charge as much to my room as possible. I also bought (2) "dinner for two" certs that I was looking to use at Simply Fish, so that is good news as well.

I love buying the gift cards and dinner certs, prior to our trips so I don't have big bills to come home to. We're flying 1st class on miles, I've already paid MFs, so with the cards and cert, other than rental car and some pocket money, we'll come home to minimal bills.

Jo Jo,

Go to gifts.marriott.com and up in left top click on dinner for two. For $109 plus $5 dhl delivery total $114 you can eat at Simply Fish which is located at the marriott hotel next to the ocean club. Google simply fish menu and check out the prices to see how much you can save.
