Does anyone have the recent budget for their time share? I am trying to understand where we spend our money and how it differs among time shares. It would be easier if it was in excel, but any format would be appreciated. I will post my results as I get them.

Thanks,

J

The budgets are huge - I don't know who going to want to do the work to type all that up.

Since new budgets will be coming out with the MF bills, I'd wait for the 2009 Info.

I would like to get the 2008 budgets if I can. You can copy the link from inside the website with the budget (most are in a pdf format) and paste it in a reply. Someone at a Marriott property did it two days ago.

thanks,

J

WSJ 2009 budget

Just received WSJ 2009 budget along with a letter outlining the hillside villas refurbishment project. I own a three bedroom pool villa and my maintainance fees have gone up 62% since last year!! $1825 to $2959. In my opinion, this is an outrageous increase without an owners vote taking place. The letter states four buildings are undergoing this refurbishment from 2009 until 2011. Does anyone know whether this includes the older 3 bedroom pool villas as far as kitchen cabinet replacement, installation of granite counters, new appliances, new floor and shower tile, new fixtures throughout?
I know they have started redecorating with furnishings, art work, and draperies this year.

can you paste the link of the budget from the wsj website here? I am hearing a lot of people who are complaining, and I am researching the budgets of comparable vc's.

Thanks,

J

I don't have the link or know where I would find it. I only have the actual letter explaining the refurbishment along with the notice of a board of directors meeting to be held 12/1 at St. John's and on the back of it it shows the 2009 budget to be approved at that meeting.

Typically, all communications from the vc is also on the owner website, possibly under news. If so, you can copy the link and paste here. Otherwise, if you have a scanner, you can scan and upload. Or, feel free to fax it to me 321-577-0233.

Yes, buildings 41 and 42 will get all those things.
