It took about 18 minutes to finally get anything but an "I'm sorry" recording. Finally I got through to a recording that told me my wait time would be about 15 minutes. Now it's been 20 minutes and I'm still on hold.

I am trying to reserve 1 week for March 8 (changed to March 2), 2013 check-in and then 2 weeks for March 9 check-in. I'll keep you posted.

Wow! Hope this isn't the new and improved Marriott

With waits like these you have to wonder who is booking those weeks that become available at 13 months. I wonder if Marriott is busy booking the weeks they are entitled to book for the DC at 9AM. Lately it seems like there are far too many posts from people waiting excessively long times to get through at 9AM.

Yes, we probably will be visiting Waiohai.

These were all strategic bookings, nothing more. We will be vacationing in the summer.

Got 3 great Spring Break weeks according to this site.

Now the fun begins!
I will now place multiple "internal" trade requests for summer 2013.
Waiohai for Maui Lahaina late June
Legends Edge for Waiohai or 2BR KoOlina or 2BR Maui late June
1BR BeachPlace for Newport Coast mid June or Waiohai late June
2BR BeachPlace for rent

If any one comes through then I will adjust. I will also readjust the dates of MLE and Waiohai in May to reflect a stronger week at MLE and a possible use week at Waiohai.

We'll be at MOC the last week of June in 2013, I hope we will see you there! Also, we'll be at Aulani the previous week, so perhaps we'll overlap if you are at Ko Olina. I hope one of the two weeks comes through -- and then perhaps you can add a picture of your family and my family to all of your other favorite pictures!

I guess I should clarify -- I hope to be at Aulani in mid-June 2013.

I've done a Direct Exchange with slum808, who is a DVC owner. I'm sending him and his family to Timber Lodge and he is using DVC points to book Aulani for me. I'm also get him a MOC or MKO Flextrade to balance (see the link). But....the key here is will Aulani have availability at the 7 month mark. We'll know this November!

I'll be booking Ko Olina as my backup and then cancel it once Aulani gets confirmed. (Terry, you should come visit us too at Aulani).

We will see -- and wish us luck getting the space!
