Star [Option] Points, MVC Points, II - help needed

I purchased a 1 bedroom deeded every other year and used it to take my grandchild to the beach. Then upped it to every year, still deeded. Continued to go to the same location with some II exchanges along the way. I've traded StarOptions for different locations. I purchased 2 bedroom, but location was changed to Florida and points assigned. Now I've rarely gone back to my original beach spot and typically use II. I purchased a package to keep the latest on hold. I really don't want to spend more money buying MVC points. I heard that II availability is not going to be very good if I don't make the transition to Abound. With all these names floating around, I'm not sure of staying only with Vistana. Can anyone enlighten me?

II available won't change depending on you transitioning to Abound or not. Since you get StarOptions you already have access to Abound and don't need to buy anything.

Do not buy Abound points. If you want to trade in II using Abound points, you cannot trade back to a Marriott or Vistana resort/

Hi Joanne - I moved your question to the Vistana forum, where you will get the most accurate response. You don't need to buy anything else, but they'd be happy to take your money. Did you convert to Flex Options? When did that happen?
