I want to make sure that I am reading things correctly regarding entry into St. Maarten beginning 2/5/22.

My wife and I are both fully vaccinated and received booster shot within the past 3 months. Am I correct that no Covid test or negative result is necessary for entry?

Attempted to complete EHAS and it won't allow me to continue. Can this only be completed within 3 days of travel?

Appreciate the help.

Yes, according to the EHAS site, you are be eligible to enter without a test. Of course, the island has changed its requirements a couple of times as conditions have changed so you'll want to keep checking the info.

Yes, you cannot complete the EHAS form for entry approval any earlier than 3 days before your travel. In our experience, they were quick to send an approval…only a few hours. There may be a gap between when you get approval for one of you and then the other, because it appears the applications get send randomly to reviewers so some get done more quickly than others. You'll need to have a PDF or photo of your vaccination records to upload when you do the application. Be sure to look in your spam folder too, because apparently some people missed their approval because it went there.

Also note that they use the European format for birth dates..day/month/year…instead of month first. My husband didn't notice that and did his birthday wrong. He emailed to ask how to fix and EHAS did respond to just use the form he'd gotten. But he went ahead and resubmitted so he had an approval form that matched his passport—didn't want to risk having a hassle at the airport!
