Hi,
We are going on a southern Caribbean Disney cruise in January. I have read on the the dis boards about people buying a day pass for a family to enjoy the Marriott resort on St Kitts. I am wondering if anyone knows if you show your MVCI membership card do you get in free or a discount? We own at Grande Ocean. Does anyone have an email address for the concierge at the resort to contact them before hand? I would like to buy the pass before so that I know we will get in. Has anyone done this before?
Thank you.

I can't answer your question specifically, I think you will get your best answer from the resort concierge. However, keep in mind that the MVCI timeshare on St Kitts sits on the same property as the Marriott hotel that is not owned or managed by MVCI. People buying day passes are buying them from the hotel owner, not MVCI.

Day passes were/are $35 per person

The number of day passes are rightly limited dependent on resort occupancy
(we were overwhelmed there one year before controls were introduced)
As dioxide45 says the day passes are controlled by the hotel management.
I am really not sure about discount or priority for MVC owners, however you might want to address that question through the MVC GM at the resort.

We just returned from a 14 day cruise and used the marriott St. Kitts day pass. No discounts. We asked about being Marriott owners and platnium elite members, and the answer was the $35 is the rate for everyone.
We did purchase 2 passes and it included the use of pools, the ocean cabanas, 10 % off food, 15% spa services.
We used the spa area to change and store all of our belongings. Based on what we heard others paid for day passes at other island resorts, we thought it was a decent deal.
We will be coming here on a trade for 2 weeks in January, so one of the bell persons, Michael, gave us a wonderful tour of the resort and rooms.

Does everyone get a mvci membership card? I have never gotten one. Do we just call mvci and request one? Thanks

I do recall us receiving an MVCI Membership (Owners) Card once upon a time.
I don't believe I have ever taken it on one of our trips.
It was quite a flimsy cardboard thing, which hardly seemed appropriate for the huge £/€/$ investment we had made over the years.
If it does have benefits though, I am sure I can find it somewhere!

Next question is are there any benefits? If no benefits then i will not even call to ask. That is why i donot have a hgvc card. The only card i carry is grand pacific so that i can have day use if i am close by (which i have never used as when we are there we are staying onsite). But its a perk.

We normally get a resort specific VIP Owners card when we check in to each resort and this does have benefits for restaurant/spa discounts and sometimes other local activities discounts.
