I look at the Tuesday Specials on the T-Mobile app, but have never pulled the trigger on any of them. It looks like a ruse to get T-Mobile users to part with their email or other identifier in exchange for a hamburger or one-time discount. I don't want to be flooded with advertising promotions, so I pass on them. Anyone have a different experience?

Of the Tuesday offers I have claimed to date, very, very few have asked for my email and I have mostly claimed the food offers. All I had to do was click a redeem button in an offer and use that vendor's app to claim the reward.

Now in the app, one does have to create a profile but I have a throwaway email address for that purpose. I have not noticed any significant increase in email BUT I'll admit that because of how I use this account, I probably haven't scrutinized it closely.

FWIW: The offers I have claimed to date have been from Burger King, Popeye's, Taco Bell, and Walgreens.

There is almost always a 10 cents per gallon off promo at Shell that appears to be jumping to 25 cents off starting next week.
